Of the total shopping expenditures, 54.2% were for the purchase of clothing and footwear, followed by expenditures for food and beverages at 26.1%. Car rental expenses accounted for 62.6% of total transport costs, and expenditures for access to amusement parks, fairs, casinos, and mechanical game halls represented 88.9% of total recreation spending.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>48.8% of the total non-residents arriving in Romania in the fourth quarter of last year organized their stay through a travel agency, while 31.2% organized their stay independently.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The main means of transport used by non-resident tourists to arrive in Romania was the airplane, chosen by 80% of tourists.
