Tourists staying at guesthouses spent 19.5 million RON on accommodation and meals alone.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>First place in the top preferences of Romanians for spending the Easter holidays is occupied again this year by rural guesthouses, and the most requested destinations were the Bran-Moeciu, Bucovina, Vrancea, Sibiu (Marginimea Sibiului), Maramures, and Buzau areas.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>In second place are the mountain resorts, and among these, the most requested were the accommodation structures in Valea Prahovei. 30,000 places were made available, of which 22,000 were sold. Tourists spent 6.6 million RON here.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>In spa resorts, 28,000 places were made available, of which 18,000 were sold. Tourists left nearly 4.9 million RON in spa resorts.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>On the seaside, most units that had Easter packages were in Mamaia, and the offers included trips to monasteries in Dobrogea. 2,800 places were made available, of which only 300 were sold. Compared to previous years, the number of hotels open on the seaside during the Easter period has increased.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Approximately 5,000 Romanians spent their Easter holiday abroad and spent over 1,300,000 EUR on tourism services.
