{"id":124670,"date":"2015-05-15T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2015-05-14T21:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/rhn.ro\/double-decker-buses-reintroduced-on-the-bucharest-city-tour-tourist-route\/"},"modified":"2026-03-28T22:28:46","modified_gmt":"2026-03-28T20:28:46","slug":"double-decker-buses-reintroduced-on-the-bucharest-city-tour-tourist-route","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rhn.ro\/en\/double-decker-buses-reintroduced-on-the-bucharest-city-tour-tourist-route\/","title":{"rendered":"Double-decker buses reintroduced on the Bucharest City Tour tourist route"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>Starting May 15, the four double-decker buses have been reintroduced into circulation in Bucharest on the Bucharest City Tour tourist line.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The buses will operate between 10:00 and 21:00, on a 15.4 km route that can be covered in approximately 50 minutes and has 14 stops: Piata Presei, Village Museum, Arch of Triumph, Piata Victoriei, Calea Victoriei, Palace of Parliament, Piata Unirii, University, Piata Romana, Piata Victoriei, Piata Charles de Gaulle, Kiseleff Road, and Piata Presei.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Tourist attractions on this route include: House of the Free Press, Herastrau Park, Village Museum, Arch of Triumph, Antipa Museum, Geology Museum, Museum of the Romanian Peasant, Victoria Palace, Romanian Athenaeum, National Museum of Art, Cretulescu Church, Telephone Palace, CEC Palace, National History Museum, Palace of Parliament, Romanian Patriarchate, Manuc&#8217;s Inn, Old Court, University, Coltea Hospital, Bucharest Municipality Museum, National Theater, Literature Museum, and the Academy of Economic Studies.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Tourists have access to audio guides in Romanian, English, French, and Italian, maps and brochures with information about the tourist attractions on the route, as well as a free wireless internet system, RATB specified.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Trips on the Bucharest City Tour buses will have the same fares, which have remained unchanged since the line&#8217;s inauguration on July 28, 2011.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Fares remain the same as in previous years, namely 25 RON for adults and 10 RON for children aged between 7 and 14. Children under 7, accompanied by adults, benefit from free transport.
