Covering a total area of 1.4 hectares, the park will host 45 life-size, scientifically certified dinosaurs.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Dino Parc Rasnov is a project worth 5 million EUR, financed with European funds through the Regional Operational Programme 2007 &#8211; 2013: Sustainable development and tourism promotion. 70% of the investment came from European funds and 30% represents co-financing from own funds.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Investors estimate that in the first year of operation they will record a turnover of 500,000 EUR and over 100,000 visitors.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>&bdquo;It is an ambitious project, developed in just one year, which aims to become an attraction for both children and adults, especially since they can spend time outdoors, surrounded by scientifically certified and naturally colored dinosaurs. The dinosaurs were built in Romania, with technical and scientific support from a team that runs a similar park in Germany. We expect the park in Rasnov to be visited by at least 100,000 tourists in the first year,&rdquo; said project manager Adrian Apostu.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The Rasnov City Hall has leased the land on which the park is located for a period of 49 years.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Dino Parc Rasnov is a leisure area and an open-air museum, located on Cetatii Street, near the Rasnov Fortress. The park is open to visitors every day, between 09:30 and 20:00. The price of a ticket is 28 RON for an adult and 22 RON for children.
