The hotel is named Henn na Hotel (Strange Hotel) and according to owner Hideo Sawada, the use of robots is an attempt to achieve maximum efficiency and attract tourists. The hotel also uses facial recognition technology.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Rooms start at 9,000 yen, approximately $80 USD, with 72 suites currently available.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The owner stated that he wants the robots to speak as many languages as possible and intends to expand the business to other locations in Japan, as well as abroad.
