The rehabilitation project of the tourist promenade in Mamaia resort, worth over 68 million RON and benefiting from European funding, was completed 3 years after works began, one year later than planned, as works were halted during the summer seasons.<\/div>\n

The manager of the “Mamaia Tourist Promenade” project, Ani Merla, stated that this was the largest project of the Constanta City Hall with European funds in the 2007-2013 financial exercise, through the Regio program, and its completion will lead to the development of seasonal economic agents and attract more tourists.<\/div>\n

The total value of the project was 68.6 million RON, of which 48.3 million RON was the European Union’s contribution, and 8.6 million RON each was the contribution of the Government and the beneficiary. The works were carried out by a consortium consisting of ABC Val, Mobitom, and UTI.<\/div>\n
