Arrivals recorded in tourist reception structures in June 2015 totaled 947.9 thousand, an increase of  17.3% compared to those in June 2014. Of these, 74.7% represented arrivals of Romanian tourists and 25.3% represented arrivals of foreign tourists.<\/div>\n

Regarding the arrivals of foreign tourists in tourist reception structures, the largest share was held by those from Europe – 73.2% of total foreign tourists, and of these, 87.6% were from countries belonging to the European Union.<\/div>\n

Overnight stays  recorded in tourist reception structures in June 2015 totaled 2327.1 thousand, an increase of 15.3% compared to those in June 2014. Of these, 79.1% represented overnight stays of Romanian tourists in tourist reception structures with accommodation functions, and 20.9% represented overnight stays of foreign tourists.<\/div>\n

Among the European Union states, the most arrivals were recorded from Hungary – 31.4%, Bulgaria – 26.9%, Germany – 8.9%, Poland – 6.8%, Italy – 5.6%, and Austria – 3.3%.<\/div>\n
