The first three positions were occupied by Milano-Bergamo, Porto, and Glasgow airports, with Budapest airport taking fifth place.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>In the category of airports with over 25 million passengers, first place is held by Madrid, followed by Istanbul Ataturk, London Gatwick, Amsterdam, and Barcelona.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>In the 10 &#8211; 25 million passenger category, the top spots were taken by Athens, London Stansted, Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen, Dublin, and Lisbon airports, while in the under 5 million passenger category, the ranking is: Santorini, Sibiu, Cluj, Astrakhan &#8211; Russia, and Azores &#8211; Ponta Delgada.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>In the first six months of this year, the Bucharest Airports National Company recorded a total air traffic of 4,217,213 passengers and 52,116 aircraft movements across Bucharest&#8217;s two airports &#8211; Henri Coanda International Airport and Bucharest-Baneasa Aurel Vlaicu International Airport. Of the total, Henri Coanda Airport recorded 4,215,314 passengers and 46,426 aircraft movements.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The evolution of passenger numbers at the Bucharest Airports National Company&#8217;s two airports significantly outpaces the general European trend of 4.5%. The capital&#8217;s airports also recorded an increase in the number of aircraft movements, exceeding the European trend of 2% in this area as well.
