The regional distribution highlights an increase in the number of building permits issued for residential buildings in most development regions, the most significant being recorded in: North-East (+283 permits), South-Muntenia (+178), North-West (+109), South-East (+106), and Bucharest-Ilfov (+103). In the West development region, the number of permits issued for residential buildings decreased by 41 permits.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>August 2015 compared to August 2014<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>In August 2015 compared to the same month of the previous year, there is an increase in the number of building permits issued for residential buildings reflected in all development regions: South-Muntenia (+311 permits), North-East (+242), North-West (+211), Bucharest-Ilfov (+185), South-East (+139), South-West Oltenia (+33), West (+24), and Center (+3).<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Period 1.I-31.VIII.2015 compared to period 1.I-31.VIII.2014<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>In the period 1.I-31.VIII.2015, 27037 building permits for residential buildings were issued, an increase of 7.4% compared to the period 1.I-31.VIII.2014. Increases were recorded in the following development regions: North-East (+537 permits), South-East (+506), South-Muntenia (+471), North-West (+312), Bucharest-Ilfov (+101), West (+74), and South-West Oltenia (+26).
