{"id":124090,"date":"2015-11-12T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2015-11-11T22:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/rhn.ro\/fapt-requests-new-government-to-establish-ministry-of-tourism-and-romanian-tourism-organization\/"},"modified":"2026-03-28T21:00:13","modified_gmt":"2026-03-28T19:00:13","slug":"fapt-requests-new-government-to-establish-ministry-of-tourism-and-romanian-tourism-organization","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rhn.ro\/en\/fapt-requests-new-government-to-establish-ministry-of-tourism-and-romanian-tourism-organization\/","title":{"rendered":"FAPT Requests New Government to Establish Ministry of Tourism and Romanian Tourism Organization"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>In the context of forming the future Government of Romania, the Federation of Tourism Promotion Associations in Romania, through its 13 member regional Tourism Development and Promotion Associations (Litoral-Delta Dunarii, Bucovina, Prahova, Brasov, Rasnov, Sibiu, Sighisoara, Buzau, Neamt, Maramures, Gorj, Timis, and Bucharest), considers the establishment of a Ministry of Tourism and the Romanian Tourism Organization essential, as a signal of the importance and priority that the Romanian Government allocates to Romanian Tourism.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The Ministry of Tourism would establish and regulate the legislative framework for tourism operations, thus not requiring high public operating costs, as a bulky public apparatus would not be necessary.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>At the same time, we believe that Romania can no longer afford to delay the establishment of the Romanian Tourism Organization, in a public-private partnership, as provided for in the Tourism Master Plan created in 2007 by the World Tourism Organization at the request of the then Government of Romania.
