The share was influenced by the entry into the local market of two major investors \u2013 the Dutch company CTP and the developer P3, owned by TPG Real Estate and Ivanhoe Cambridge.<\/div>\n

The total volume of real estate investments in the Romanian market continues to show significant dynamics in the post-recession period, being nearly double compared to 2013, but below the peak level recorded in 2014. The past year brought a constant improvement in real estate investment yields: from 8% to 7.25% for shopping centers, from 7.75% to 7.5% for office buildings, and from 9.5% to 8.75% for the industrial sector, and this trend is expected to continue in 2016.<\/div>\n

The most significant placements last year came from the Netherlands, the USA, the UK, and Germany. The office space sector also recorded spectacular growth towards the end of the year: investments made in the last three months of 2015 represented half of the total for the entire year.<\/div>\n
\u201cIf we look at the interest shown by investors, we can estimate that this year will have at least the same performance indicators as in 2015. Both investors already active in Romania and those planning to invest here are becoming increasingly receptive to strengthening their presence in Romania, given the recent solid performance of the Romanian economy, but also due to the advantageous prices of investment products. In the same time, financing offered by the banking system has contributed to the improvement of investment yields over the last year,\u201d explains Gijs Klomp, Head of Capital Markets CEE, CBRE.<\/div>\n
