In December 2015, arrivals recorded in tourist reception structures totaled 655.8 thousand, an increase of 19.6% compared to December 2014. Of these, 80.5% represented arrivals of Romanian tourists and 19.5% represented arrivals of foreign tourists.<\/div>\n

Among the European Union states, the most arrivals were recorded from Hungary – 32%, Bulgaria – 31%, Italy – 8.1%, Germany – 7%, Poland – 3.6%, and Austria – 2.7%.<\/div>\n
