Austrian real estate development company Warimpex Finanz und Beteiligungs could invest EUR 30 million in acquiring hotels or developing new hotel spaces in Romania.<\/p>\n

Project Director Christoph Salzer stated that the firm will most likely enter the Romanian market in the first half of this year. The company’s plans for this year involve starting construction work on one or two hotels in Romania. The company is already in discussions for land acquisitions in Bucharest, but so far, no documents have been signed, said Christoph Salzer.<\/p>\n

In our country, the company intends to develop 3 and 4-star hotels with 120-400 rooms, as well as 5-star hotels, depending on market evolution. Additionally, the firm will focus on acquiring existing hotels, which it will modernize and expand.<\/p>\n
