We believe that Romanians&#8217; increased interest in staying in the country for Easter was also encouraged by the launch of new flight offers this spring to major airports\u2014Bucharest, Iasi, Cluj, Timisoara\u2014coming from low-cost airlines and beyond,&rdquo; said Mircea Giurca, marketing manager of Momondo Romania.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The site&#8217;s specialists analyzed Romanians&#8217; flight preferences for the period April 13-18, 2017, compared to April 28 &ndash; May 3, 2016.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>According to data provided by the search engine, Italy and Spain are the European destinations that recorded the most searches for this year&#8217;s Easter mini-break.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Romanians&#8217; interest in traveling during this period increased by 240% in flight searches for Italy and by 221% for Spain. Also, Germany recorded a 384% increase compared to 2016, and England attracted 202% more searches compared to last year.
