Arrivals recorded in tourist accommodation structures in February 2017 totaled 679.1 thousand, an increase of 7.7% compared to February 2016. Of these, 80% represented arrivals of Romanian tourists and 20% represented arrivals of foreign tourists.<\/div>\n

Regarding the arrivals of foreign tourists in tourist accommodation structures, the largest share was held by those from Europe – 77.2% of the total foreign tourists, and of these, 84.6% were from countries belonging to the European Union.<\/div>\n

Overnight stays recorded in tourist accommodation structures in February 2017 totaled 1,300.8 thousand, an increase of 4.3% compared to February 2016. Of these, 80.1% represented overnight stays of Romanian tourists and 19.9% represented overnight stays of foreign tourists.<\/div>\n
