Eturia estimates a 35% increase in turnover this year<\/p>\n

For this year, the travel agency Eturia, specialized in exotic vacations, estimates it will record a turnover of 11 million EUR, an increase of 35% compared to last year, stated Sorin Stoica, the company’s co-owner.<\/p>\n

The tour operator wants to expand into the online sector to increase vacation sales globally. The largest part of sales is provided by circuits and relaxation-oriented vacations.<\/p>\n

The company wants to focus on the online segment in the future and become a supplier for other booking systems as well.<\/p>\n

Every year, Eturia contracts 6,000 airline tickets. Among the company’s clients are Romanians living abroad, as well as foreign citizens living in Romania.<\/p>\n

The destinations with the highest growth are: India, Japan, Singapore, Indonesia and Malaysia, Peru, as well as the Maldives, Mauritius, and the Dominican Republic.<\/p>\n

He also estimates that, with the lifting of visas for Canada starting January 1, 2018, the number of tourists will increase from 20 currently to 200 next year, and in 3-4 years, “I believe we will sell 600-800 vacations per year in Canada,” Stoica estimates.<\/p>\n
