The company THR Marea Neagra, belonging to SIF Transilvania, wants to sell or lease 10 of the 24 hotels and hotel complexes it owns on the coast.<\/div>\n

This is the second major offer brought to the market by a hotel company, after the Micula brothers launched the sale of 11 hotels at the Black Sea in March.<\/div>\n

“There is an asset management strategy approved in the General Shareholders’ Meeting (AGA) in April. We also have a core group of hotel complexes and restaurants that are under direct management and are not for sale. We want to maintain our business scope and develop THR Marea Neagra, which is one of the important companies in our portfolio,” stated Iulian Stan, Vice President of SIF Transilvania.<\/div>\n

In 2014, other hotel assets were put up for sale, such as the Pajura Complex, Cocorul Complex, and villas Balea, Mara, and Lacul in Venus.<\/div>\n

Currently, the strategy stipulates that the following will be retained: Cleopatra, Narcis, Hora, Balada, Sirena, Cerna complexes and Tosca hotel, all in the Saturn resort; Raluca and Orion complexes in the Neptun resort; the Cold Mud Baths in the Eforie Sud resort; Bran-Brad-Bega, Vraja Marii, Venus complexes, Diana hotel, and Vila Flora in the Eforie Nord resort.<\/div>\n

The following assets are listed for sale:<\/div>\n
– from Eforie Sud – Gloria hotel classified at 2 stars, 159 rooms; Capitol complex classified at 2 stars, 112 rooms, 228-seat restaurant; Ancora hotel – non-functional, 164 rooms; Riviera hotel – non-functional, 132 rooms; Magura complex \u2013 non-functional, classified at 2 stars, 227 rooms and 600-seat restaurant; Riviera, Ancora, and Magura were also offered in 2014.<\/div>\n
– from Neptun – Miorita Complex classified at 3 stars, 359 rooms, 1,000-seat restaurant, swimming pool, conference room, and bar, plus 21,180 sqm of land.<\/div>\n
– from Jupiter – Jupiter Household Group, consisting of warehouses with a built area of nearly 5,000 sqm and over 10,000 sqm of owned land.<\/div>\n
– from Saturn \u2013 Prahova hotel \u2013 classified at 2 stars, 153 rooms, 3,662 sqm land; Mures hotel – 2 stars, 153 rooms, 8,333 sqm land; Siret complex – 3 stars, 153 rooms, 370-seat restaurant, 9,797 sqm land; Atena complex – 2 stars, 226 rooms, 592-seat restaurant and 6,019 sqm land; Prahova restaurant – 1,200 seats, 5,073 sqm land; Pelican restaurant – 662 seats, non-functional, 3,241 sqm land; Dunarea restaurant – 950 seats, non-functional, 5,688 sqm land; staff dormitory no. 3 – non-functional, 3,803 sqm land; Saturn confectionery – non-functional, 120 seats, 613 sqm land; Dunarea Holiday Village land – 1,055 sqm.<\/div>\n
