Hotel Epoque has announced its affiliation with Relais & Chateaux, the world’s most prestigious hospitality association.<\/p>\n
The process of joining Relais & Chateaux is complex and staged, bringing together over 300 analysis criteria. The stages of the process include: multiple evaluations by Relais & Chateaux inspector committees, anonymous quality audits, reviews from 5C club guests, analysis of reports by the quality department in Paris, and the board of directors’ vote. Of the approximately 120 properties inspected annually, only a quarter become Relais & Chateaux members upon completion of the selection process.<\/p>\n
Once a member, the association uses its own tools to track quality parameters and produces quarterly customer satisfaction reports.<\/p>\n
Member benefits include: access to the specific Relais & Chateaux customer segment, a proprietary direct booking system, its own recruitment platform for the best candidates for member property teams, a direct or online training academy, and access to the entire communication and promotion infrastructure specific to the Relais & Chateaux brand.<\/p>\n
The Relais & Chateaux community includes over 550 properties worldwide and has over 2 million customers per year, with a loyalty rate of over 60%.<\/p>\n

The Mantis network comprises 28 managed properties, plus a global network of licensed hotels and residences, including boutique villas and flagship properties such as Founders Lodge \u2013 a wildlife-dedicated nature reserve in South Africa’s Eastern Cape province, Mantis St Helena \u2013 a boutique hotel on the remote Atlantic Ocean island, and the Draycott Hotel in London.<\/p>\n
