The owner of the transport and logistics group TTS, businessman Alexandru Mircea Mihailescu, who also controls Navrom, the passenger and freight transport operator in the Danube Delta, will build, together with his son, an 8-story hotel on Expozitiei Boulevard in Bucharest, in the Romexpo complex area.<\/p>\n

The project, which has been in preparation for at least 3 years, is set to receive approval from the Capital’s City Hall for the zonal urban plan (PUZ).<\/p>\n

The City Hall’s Urban Planning Department issued an opportunity permit for the project as early as 2015, receiving an urban planning certificate in the same year, which was later extended. Initial plans envisioned the hotel having 6 floors, plus a technical one.<\/p>\n

The TTS Group is one of the largest naval transport operators in Romania, also having operations in rail transport through the company Transfer International Spedition, TIS.<\/p>\n

The group includes the companies Navrom Galati, TTS Constanta, Canopus Star Constanta, Trans Europa Port Galati, Cernavoda Shipyard, Bunker Trade Logistic Constanta, Cargorom Antwerp (Belgium), TTS Vienna, Agrimol Trade Bucharest and Transterminal Chisinau.
