As usual, accommodation facilities in the northern part of the coast were the most crowded: Mamaia and Navodari, but many tourists also reached Vama Veche.<\/p>\n<p>At the beginning of this summer season, hoteliers promoted themselves through discounts, with rates being 40%-70% lower than those in high season, and for tourists who stayed more than 3 days, the rates from the &bdquo;Seaside for Everyone&rdquo; program were applied.<\/p>\n<p>Over 18,000 Romanians chose the mountain area, with the most sought-after resorts being those in the Prahova Valley.<\/p>\n<p>According to FPTR estimates, tourists spent around 3.6 million RON in the mountains.<\/p>\n<p>Approximately 40,000 Romanians preferred to relax in rural areas during Pentecost. At the top of the requests were guesthouses in the Bran, Moeciu, Transfagarasan, and Valea Sambetei areas, with tourists spending approximately 6 million RON for such mini-holidays.<\/p>\n<p>Spa resorts were chosen by 15,000 Romanians. The most sought-after resort was Baile Felix.
