During an official ceremony launching the partnership for the refurbishment of Grand Hotel du Boulevard, which will reopen under the luxury Corinthia Hotels brand in 2019, Niro Investment Group announced its official expansion plans in the hotel and tourism industry.<\/p>\n
With a total investment estimated at approximately EUR 60 million over the next 4 years, the company intends to expand on the local market by developing a new hotel project targeting the premium business segment, as well as its intention to support educational efforts by launching a hotel management institute, a first for the local market.<\/p>\n
To support the growing hospitality and tourism market, Niro Investment Group signed a long-term strategic agreement with the Swiss hospitality education institute Swiss Alpine, SAHEG, to establish a center of excellence in hotel management and culinary arts in Romania. This initiative is supported by the Hospitality Asset Managers Association (HAMA) for the Middle East and Africa.<\/p>\n
The center will set standards of excellence for training in hospitality management and associated services in Romania and the region.<\/p>\n
Additionally, Niro Investment Group will invest in the development of a new premium hotel in Bucharest, located on Expozitiei Blvd. The new hotel is expected to open by 2021 and will have a total built area of approximately 30,000 sqm, catering to both business and leisure travelers.<\/p>\n
