In Romania, wine tourism still has a long way to go to reach its development potential, but it is growing. According to CrameRomania.ro, there are over 175 active wineries in Romania with bottled wines, of which only about 100 engage in wine tourism.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Tim Brockman, the new owner of Vinarte, will invest nearly EUR 500,000 in two wineries that will feature wine tourism programs.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>At Starmina, Turnu Severin, in Mehedinti County, Vinarte owns a 190-hectare vineyard. This winery has a production capacity of 1.5 million liters, producing: Sirena Dunarii, Castel Starmina, Domeniile Vinarte, Cuvee d`excellence, Nedeea, and Prince Mircea.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The Starmina winery will very soon become a winery integrated into the agro-tourism circuit, with all accommodation and restaurant facilities managed in-house, open for local events and more. 25 double rooms will be set up here.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>In Samburesti, Vinarte owns an estate with a total area of 60 hectares. The concept for the Bolovanu &ndash; Samburesti winery is different: it will be transformed into a boutique winery for super-premium products. It will benefit from accommodation and event facilities, but on a private basis.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>A unit with a maximum of 10 rooms will be built here, and the investment will amount to EUR 200,000 &ndash; 250,000.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>In 2018, Vinarte SA recorded a turnover of RON 10.5 million, representing a 10% increase compared to the figure recorded in 2017.
