Businessmen Iulian Robu and Constantin Capatana, known for developing the Militari Residence residential complex in Bucharest, will launch Lebada Luxury Resort & SPA in May, following the renovation and expansion of the former Lebada hotel complex in Crisan, located on the Sulina branch of the Danube Delta. The investment exceeded \u20ac20 million.<\/div>\n

The two acquired the Lebada complex in 2017 following an auction organized by ANAF. The Lebada complex had a starting price of \u20ac1.6 million and was awarded for over \u20ac3 million.<\/div>\n

The complex features nearly 4 hectares of land, and the construction area was expanded from approximately 3,500 sqm to about 5,700 sqm, with over 200 accommodation units, of which 140 are for guests and the remainder for employees.<\/div>\n

The investors utilized the Land Use Coefficient (CUT), set by authorities at 15%, almost to its maximum.<\/div>\n

The complex can accommodate up to 400 guests in single rooms, double rooms, and suites. Prices range from \u20ac80\/night for a single room with one bed to \u20ac290 for a VIP apartment with a garden and two beds for four people.<\/div>\n

“We have a building intended for a casino, but we are waiting for current regulations. We contacted three service providers for casino equipment and received three offers. Based on the offers received, our calculations do not show a profit. Licensing and authorization costs are very high. We would like to have a casino because the resort will be classified at 5 stars and it would add value. It would be a marketing tool to attract foreign tourists. There are no other casinos in the Delta. If it won’t be a casino, it will be a club,” stated Laurentiu Niculae, General Manager of Lebada Luxury Resort & SPA.<\/div>\n

The complex also features a saltwater pool, a SPA center, a jacuzzi, and two saunas, as well as three international restaurants coordinated by Chef Bogdan Piele, who also works at Militari Residence Ballroom and Aqua Garden in Bucharest.<\/div>\n
