Romania climbed 20 spots in the global ranking of countries with the best reputations conducted by FutureBrand, one of the most spectacular leaps, due to the improvement in the perception of tourists and business people regarding the main indicators considered in the study.<\/div>\n

The 2019 edition of the country index calculated by FutureBrand, the first after a 5-year break, analyzes the reputation of the 75 largest global economies based on a wide range of factors, from national value systems and quality of life to business potential, heritage and culture, security, and tourism.<\/div>\n

Romania ranks 42nd in the global top of states with the best reputation, recording an advance of 20 places compared to the 2014 edition, when it was placed 62nd. It is the second fastest advance in the index, after the 24-place jump made by Slovakia, a country that is in 35th position in this year’s ranking.<\/div>\n

Romania is flanked by India (41st place, up 9 positions) and Chile (43rd place, up 3 positions). <\/div>\n
