Of these, Romanian tourist arrivals represented 78.9%, and foreign tourist arrivals represented 21.1%.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Regarding foreign tourist arrivals in tourist reception structures, the largest share was held by those from Europe, namely 74% of total foreign tourists, and of these, 83.5% were from European Union countries.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Overnight stays recorded in tourist reception structures in March 2019 totaled 1.519 million, an increase of 6.7% compared to those in March 2018.&nbsp; Of these, 77.7% represented Romanian tourist stays and 22.3% represented foreign tourist stays.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Regarding foreign tourist overnight stays in tourist reception structures, the largest share was held by those from Europe, namely 71.9% of the total number of foreign tourists, and of these, 83.2% were from European Union countries.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The average length of stay in March 2019 was 1.9 days for Romanian tourists and 2 days for foreign tourists.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Foreign visitor arrivals in Romania, recorded at border points, were 820,000 in March 2019, an increase of 2.8% compared to March 2018.
