Evolution of arrivals and overnight stays in July and the first seven months of this year<\/p>\n

Arrivals registered in tourist reception structures in July 2019 totaled 1,651.3 thousand, an increase of 3.6% compared to those in July 2018. Of these, Romanian tourist arrivals represented 81.8%, while foreign tourists represented 18.2%.<\/div>\n

Regarding the arrivals of foreign tourists in tourist reception structures, the largest share was held by those from Europe – 72.1% of total foreign tourists, and of these, 85.2% were from countries belonging to the European Union.<\/div>\n

Overnight stays registered in tourist reception structures in July 2019 totaled 4,407.3 thousand, an increase of 3.5% compared to those in July 2018. Of these, Romanian tourist overnight stays represented 86.4%, while foreign tourist overnight stays<\/div>\n
