“All our hotels in Romania are for sale. This is our business model – we build hotels from scratch, make them high quality, in very good areas, bring in a very strong brand, and then, when they become operational, we put them up for sale, but we offer to continue providing management if the new owner agrees," stated Gerhard Erasmus, CEO of Apex Alliance<\/div>\n

Apex has two Hilton Garden Inn hotels in Romania, one opened 2 years ago in the Capital’s Old Town, and the other inaugurated in mid-August near one of the Otopeni airport runways. The company will open a Courtyard by Marriott in the northern area of Bucharest in two weeks, and next year it will inaugurate a Moxy by Marriott in the center of the Capital, as well as an Autograph Collection, an Apex brand that will also be affiliated with Marriott.<\/div>\n

Asked if the Hilton hotel at Otopeni, opened less than two months ago, is for sale, Erasmus answered affirmatively, but did not provide a price, only mentioning that the investment amounted to 19 million EUR.<\/div>\n
