As of July 31, 2019, Romania had 38 hotels classified as 5-star, representing 4.2% of the total number of hotel beds and two more than on July 31, 2018, according to National Institute of Statistics (INS) data published on October 22.<\/div>\n

Most hotels were classified in the 3-star category, specifically 53.5% of the total hotels, followed by 4-star at 23.3% and 2-star at 18.6%.<\/div>\n

Of the total number of hotel beds, 46.1% were in 3-star hotels, 27.3% in 4-star hotels, 20.7% in 2-star hotels, 4.2% in 5-star hotels, 1.6% in 1-star hotels, and 0.1% in unclassified hotels, INS specifies.<\/div>\n
