This document represents a critical procedural step for the project’s beneficiary, the National Road Investment Company (CNIR) SA, facilitating the completion of the Feasibility Study by the designer SC Consitrans SRL and preparing the stages for land expropriation and work authorization.<\/p>\n

The motorway route in Bra\u0219ov County crosses the administrative-territorial units of Codlea, H\u0103lchiu, Bra\u0219ov, Bod, S\u00e2npetru, H\u0103rman, Prejmer, and Teliu. The design aimed to avoid inhabited areas and authorized constructions, with the only section passing through an urban area being the one related to the municipality of Bra\u0219ov. Due to technical and environmental considerations, the route was diverted by 12 kilometers in the H\u0103rman area to bypass the Carfil firing range and protected natural reserves. The Bra\u0219ov-Bac\u0103u sector will connect with the A3 Bucharest-Bra\u0219ov Motorway and the Sibiu-F\u0103g\u0103ra\u0219 section through a high-speed interchange located north of Codlea.<\/p>\n

At the national level, the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure has set a target to open approximately 250 kilometers of motorways and expressways to traffic this year. Currently, over 800 kilometers of high-speed infrastructure are under construction in various regions of the country, including strategic projects such as the bridge over the Prut at Ungheni, which is at a 30% execution stage.<\/p>\n

State Secretary Ionel Scrio\u0219teanu emphasized that the development of the motorway network must be correlated with investments in industrial parks, logistics centers, and intermodal hubs to stimulate domestic production.
