Very few of these private companies, generally travel agencies, would have continued to participate by paying everything in full, being accustomed for years to being subsidized for these presences at fairs, where they promote their offers.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>In this context, the Ministry of Economy found a loophole in the law through which it continues to support part of the presence at fairs of private companies that bring foreign tourists to Romania, explaining that they are an important vector for promoting our country abroad.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The Government found the solution to unblock the problem generated by the De Minimis Scheme, unfinished last year, so that Romania could participate, thus, in the first international fair of this year, which took place in Vienna, Austria (Ferien Messe), between January 16-19.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Unfortunately, however, supporting the presence of private companies at international fairs, which until last year had free desks at Romania&#8217;s stand, is considered state aid from this year.
