In 2019, real estate developer One United Properties acquired a plot of approximately 5,600 sqm worth EUR 7.3 million, where it intended to build a hotel and luxury apartments. However, influenced by the coronavirus pandemic, the project was changed, and the company plans to develop two towers with 140 exclusive apartments, featuring retail on the ground floor and small offices on the first floor. Victor C\u0103pitanu, one of the shareholders of One United Properties, stated that an international tender will soon be launched to appoint the architectural firm that will design the project.
