The hotel company Accor has signed a management agreement with Alexandra Residence Design for a 144-room hotel under the ibis brand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The new hotel will be located near the future Terminal 2 of the Henri Coand\u0103 International Airport in Bucharest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On June 24, the Accor group and Alexandra Residence Design signed a management agreement for the opening of an ibis hotel in Tunari. The new hotel is located at 1 Washington Street, near Henri Coand\u0103 International Airport, where Terminal 2 will be built, along with the final station of the rapid train currently under construction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The future ibis hotel will be part of a multifunctional complex, which will include a SPA and wellness center and an event space of approximately 1,000 sqm, designed to host various corporate or private events, from sporting events to concerts and social gatherings. The two buildings will be connected to the hotel via a walkway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The new ibis hotel will feature 144 rooms, a restaurant with a bar, and the new ibis brand living-room concept.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The inauguration of the ibis Henri Coanda Airport Terminal 2 hotel and the Event and Conference Center is planned for the end of 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Accor aims to consolidate a network of 45-50 hotels in Romania under various brands in the coming years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This year, Accor plans to open 7 new hotels in Romania. For the following years, the group has secured a development pipeline comprising 10 new units, totaling over 1,344 rooms.<\/p>\n\n\n
