Accor hotel group announces the opening of its first hotel in the city, Mercure Timisoara. The hotel offers 60 rooms, a penthouse, and a Winestone restaurant with a terrace and bar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At the same time, the hotel marks several premieres that set a new standard of hospitality, both in Romania and in Europe. Mercure Timisoara is the first hotel in Romania and the fourth in Europe to be BREEAM OUTSTANDING certified \u2013 the highest classification level for green buildings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is the first hotel in the Accor chain equipped with a special air ventilation system that monitors and regulates humidity, VOC pressure, and CO2 levels, permanently replacing consumed air with fresh, filtered, and UV-disinfected air.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Additionally, the new Mercure Timisoara is the first smart hotel that integrates ALL processes via phone and tablet, from booking, check-in, room access using a smartphone, control of lights, temperature, curtains, room service, room status, and online check-out. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The restaurant has a capacity of 60 seats indoors and 26 seats on the terrace. The hotel includes a 100 sqm conference room, which will be available in February 2021. Mercure Timisoara complies with all safety standards and regulations necessary to prevent the spread of Covid-19.<\/p>\n
