Ocna Sugatag in Maramure\u0219 County could be certified as a tourist resort of national interest, according to a draft Decision published by the Ministry of Economy, which also aims to certify 13 other localities as tourist resorts of local interest. Thus, Romania will have a total of 52 tourist resorts of national interest and 87 tourist resorts of local interest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The project proposes the approval of the certification, as tourist resorts of national or local interest, of the following localities or parts of localities:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
1. national interest: Ocna Sugatag, Maramure\u0219 County;<\/p>\n\n\n\n
2. local interest: Anina, Cara\u0219-Severin County; Bor\u0219, Bihor County; Cavnic, Maramure\u0219 County; Dorna Arini, Suceava County; Ghioroc, Arad County; Gura Siriului, Buz\u0103u County; Sadova, Suceava County; S\u0103cele, Bra\u0219ov County; S\u00e2nnicolau Mare, Timi\u0219 County; Sighetu Marma\u021biei, Maramure\u0219 County; \u0218tei, Bihor County; Tuluce\u0219ti, Gala\u021bi County; Vatra Moldovi\u021bei, Suceava County.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The positive impact is determined by the increase in tourist traffic and, at the same time, the turnover of tourism investors. Tourism investors can access European structural funding for the construction of tourist reception structures. By implementing these projects, the localities will develop from a tourism perspective, which will lead to an increase in the number of tourists from the domestic and foreign markets.<\/p>\n\n\n
