Deva City Hall has launched the procurement procedure for awarding the works contract for the investment project “Modernization of the inclined elevator, access to Deva Fortress.” The project’s value amounts to approximately 16 million RON.
The investment’s implementation duration from the signing of the contract and the handover of the site to the winning bidder is 12 months, consisting of two months for design and 10 months for execution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“The new elevator that will facilitate access to Deva Fortress will have a capacity of 30 people. The investment will also include the modernization of the inclined transport installation, its control and functional safety systems, the modernization of the two stations between which the cable car operates, the arrangement and repurposing of the waiting area in the pedestrian zone at the foot of Fortress Hill (currently, the departure station area is not developed), the resizing of technical rooms in the two stations (departure, arrival) for the new tourist flows, the modernization of sanitary facilities, and the adaptation of ramps for people with neuromotor disabilities to current standards and regulations,” announced Florin Oancea, the mayor of Deva.<\/p>\n
