The pandemic has increased Romanians’ interest in exotic destinations, considered safer during this period. While the most sought-after destinations in recent months have been Turkey, Greece, Portugal, and Egypt, the Maldives is rising to the top of preferences for the winter holidays, according to requests received by agencies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
To support the relaunch of tourism, the Karpaten Turism travel agency is launching the Bucharest-Maldives charter on the occasion of the first edition of the online travel fair. The flight will be operated by Gulliv Air, a company specializing in charters to exotic destinations, using an Airbus A-330 aircraft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The travel fair takes place online between November 12-16 and brings great offers for travel enthusiasts and the possibility of a full refund in case of trip cancellation in the context of pandemic-imposed restrictions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The charter to the Maldives will operate during the New Year period and the first week of January. Thus, Romanian tourists can fly safely, without a layover, at prices starting from 1,199 EUR\/person, stated Alexandru Marginean, General Manager of Karpaten Turism \u2013 International Tourism Division.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Destinations where one can travel safely and without restrictions during this period include: Turkey, Egypt, the Maldives, Zanzibar, Mexico, Dubai, and Greece. New Year’s prices start from 309 EUR\/person and include accommodation, air transport, transfers, and tourist assistance in Romanian. For summer 2021 stays, prices start from 219 EUR\/person and can be paid in three installments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
To make the booking experience as safe as possible for tourists in the context of the pandemic, all bookings from the fair benefit from the advantages of the #restartTravel campaign: only a 5% advance is required, they can be canceled for free up to 21 days before departure, and there is an option for medical and cancellation insurance. Additionally, if the trip is not possible due to restrictions imposed by authorities, the agency guarantees a refund within 7 days.<\/p>\n\n\n
