RePatriot, with the support of the Ministry of Economy, Energy and Business Environment, the Department for Romanians Abroad, and the Presidential Administration, has launched the RePatriot Turism project, a joint action to support and promote Romanian incoming tourism. Thus, the initiators are calling on Romanians everywhere to work together to relaunch Romanian tourism post-pandemic through concrete actions to promote Romania and attract foreign tourists to the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe have already identified ambassadors among them and will continue the action of their accelerated growth, so as to create new communities. All those who promote and bring foreign tourists to Romania will be rewarded through special recognition, but also through specific tools. We are convinced that through this initiative we can bring 2 million tourists to Romania next year: 1 million Romanians and 1 million foreign tourists,\u201d said Dragos Anastasiu, leader of RePatriot Turism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Additionally, the initiative aims to identify leaders to create at least five new RePatriot Turism communities in the main countries where the most Romanians have emigrated. Such communities have already begun to take shape in Israel, Germany, and the United States of America.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Along with many other actions, RePatriot will encourage Romanians outside the borders to actively participate and massively promote Romania, especially to foreigners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In addition to diplomas, awards, and honorary badges for RePatriot ambassadors in the Diaspora, Marius Bostan launched a challenge to the entire community of tourism owners: rewarding Romanians involved in promoting tourism by offering real benefits, such as stays with special discounts or even free stays for the most active among them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The challenge has already been accepted by Dragos Anastasiu at Green Village, Emil Munteanu at ATRA Doftana, and Calin Ile, President of the Federation of the Romanian Hotel Industry, who will pass this challenge on to the entire community of tourism entrepreneurs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
RePatriot Turism aims to bring at least 1 million foreign tourists to Romania next year. RePatriot is a community established as a platform for inspiration, action, counseling, and information that aims to facilitate access for Romanians abroad to opportunities in the country. RePatriot is a project of Romanian Business Leaders – RBL launched in 2015.<\/p>\n\n\n
