The Bucharest Airports National Company (CNAB), which manages the two airports in Bucharest, has a new board of directors and a new general manager, announced the Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, Catalin Drula.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Thus, Cosmin Pestesan, director of the Safety and Quality Directorate within ROMATSA, aged 39, was appointed general manager of CNAB.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He was previously the general manager of CNAB between July and November 2016. He was also a director within the Ministry of Transport between November 2016 and January 2017.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
CNAB announced that, in 2020, it recorded air traffic of 4.46 million passengers on the two airports, a decrease of almost 70% compared to 2019, and 67,696 aircraft movements (landings and take-offs), a decrease of 53% compared to the previous year. The losses recorded by the company last year amount to 120 million RON.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Henri Coanda Bucharest International Airport (AIHCB) received the Health and Safety Accreditation Certificate from the Airports Council International (ACI World).
