Deputy Ionel Danca stated that the state aid scheme for compensating losses in the HoReCa and tourism industry, proposed last year, has been supplemented with organizers of events, conferences, fairs, and exhibitions.<\/p>\n

Through this new state aid scheme, 20% of the losses of companies in the HoReCa industry, tourism, and event organizers, affected by the restrictions imposed by the pandemic in 2020, will be compensated.<\/p>\n

Danca declared that the state aid scheme for HoReCa was approved last week by the European Commission with a budget of approximately EUR 500 million and is to be operationalized by the Ministry of Economy simultaneously with the immediate notification of this addition for event organizers.<\/p>\n
