Within this, a budget was also approved for the Bucharest Tourism Board for the tourism promotion of the Municipality of Bucharest.<\/p>\n<p>The priority projects of the Bucharest Tourism Board are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>creation of the official tourism promotion website for Bucharest;<\/li>\n<li>creation of a platform where all events of any type related to Bucharest can be uploaded and managed, regardless of the initiator or organizer;<\/li>\n<li>creation of mobile applications to highlight local tourism;<\/li>\n<li>lobbying for the creation of a multifunctional Conference Center in Bucharest;<\/li>\n<li>Bucharest City Pass, the capital&#8217;s tourist card, offering discounts and access to transport, museums, and tourist attractions; tourist information points.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Bucharest Tourism Board will coordinate all promotional activities for the destination, specifically setting objectives and implementation plans in this regard.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe will collaborate closely with the Culture, Education, and Tourism Directorate within the Bucharest City Hall and together we will establish the ideas and projects to be implemented, most likely in 2022. We are convinced that the Bucharest Tourism Board will form the basis of the future Destination Management Organization (DMO) for Bucharest,\u201d stated Calin Ile, president of the Federation of the Romanian Hotel Industry (FIHR) and vice-president of the Bucharest Tourism Board.<\/p>\n<p>Established 8 years ago, the Bucharest Tourism Board is an association designed to coordinate the efforts of all stakeholders involved in promoting Bucharest as a tourist destination.
