During the 25th annual Congress of the European Spas Association (ESPA), held in Slovenia, Ana Aslan Health Spa won the Special Jury Award in the Spa Hotel category at the Innovation SPA Awards Gala – European Spas Association.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The congress brings together 20 European countries rich in natural resources with established balneology and health tourism sectors. This year, the congress theme focused on “Think Green”, “Be active”, “Stay Healthy”, according to a press release.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ana Aslan Health Spa, part of the Ana Hotels Europa Eforie Nord complex, was nominated for the unique “Techirghiol Pool” concept. Opened in 2018, Techirghiol Pool is a unique concept on the Romanian seaside. The 136 sqm therapeutic pool features heated salt water brought directly from Lake Techirghiol. Typically, the mud unction procedure is performed outdoors on the shores of Lake Techirghiol, but at Ana Aslan Health Spa, this unique therapy has been brought into the spa’s proximity, adapting the concept to 4-star services.<\/p>\n\n\n
