My hope is that Romanians in the diaspora, including the 3 million Romanians living in Europe, will share the link and thus become ambassadors for their country. If 10 of each diaspora Romanian’s friends see the documentary, we could reach 30 million potential visitors to Romania. As with each of the Wild Carpathia episodes, part 4 featured some incredible landscapes and experiences. But what personally inspired me the most was exploring the cave monasteries near Colti, which I consider to be a Stonehenge of Romania. And I was impressed to see the breathtaking colors in every season in Romania. It was a magical experience,” said Charlie Ottley.

I believe Romania could be one of the most spectacular tourist destinations in the world only if it preserves these wonders and manages its resources sustainably. If it succeeds in this, then tourism will become one of Romania’s largest sources of income, the producer added.

To watch the Wild Carpathia episode CLICK HERE

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the “Wild Carpathia” series?

“Wild Carpathia” is a renowned documentary series produced by British journalist Charlie Ottley, showcasing Romania’s natural beauty and cultural heritage to a global audience.

Where can I watch the final episode of the series?

The final episode, titled “Seasons of Change,” has been available to watch for free on YouTube since October 2021.

What is the main message of the “Seasons of Change” episode?

The documentary highlights the seasonal beauty of the Carpathians while warning against the environmental impact of illegal logging and advocating for sustainable ecotourism.

Completed in 2016, the fourth part of the documentary “Wild Carpathia” by the famous British journalist Charlie Ottley has been available for free on YouTube since October 2021.
