The 2022 edition of ITB Berlin will feature a new hybrid format that will combine an in-person event in the German capital from March 9 to 13, 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The central content of the event will focus on the relaunch and recovery of tourism. As part of a three-phase trade fair concept, the preliminary period will consist mainly of professional contacts and meetings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the in-person event, ITB will provide a platform for business, networking, content, and dialogue, and with its physical and hybrid exhibition stands, it will create a stage for event participation. After the meeting, over a period of one to two days, Virtual Business Days will complement the concept with virtual meetings and live broadcasts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The event organizers reported that from Wednesday to Friday, it will be open only to trade visitors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Parallel to the event, from Wednesday, March 9 to Saturday, March 12, 2022, the ITB Berlin Convention will take place, the largest event of its kind. It will be held physically and virtually and will feature live broadcasts along with a 24-hour program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Alternatively, in the week following ITB Berlin, the fair’s virtual platform will host one or two special ITB Digital Business days, which will allow exhibitors and buyers to meet technically, fulfilling appointments they could not make during the live event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At the virtual edition ITB Berlin NOW 2021, 3,513 exhibitors from 120 countries participated. Approximately 65,700 users visited the new online platform, of which about two-thirds were foreigners.<\/p>\n\n\n
