A new round of the DiscoverEU program has begun<\/p>\n
At the European level, 60,950 Europeans will benefit from free train travel passes through the DiscoverEU program in this round.<\/p>\n
Out of the 5,844 applications submitted, 2,343 young people from Romania were chosen to receive travel passes in the most recent round of the DiscoverEU program, through which young Europeans can travel for free in the European Union.<\/p>\n
Exceptionally, young people aged 19 and 20 were also able to register, as the rounds dedicated to them were postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n
The DiscoverEU program was launched in June 2018, with an initial budget of 12 million EUR, subsequently supplemented every year. The next round of the program will be launched in the spring.<\/p>\n
