AirlineRatings.com analyzed 385 different air carriers and identified 20 of the safest companies in this industry for 2022.<\/p>\n

To create the ranking, factors such as the number of serious incidents over the last two years, the age of the flight crew and aircraft, government-level audits, and, last but not least, COVID-19 safety protocols were taken into account.<\/p>\n

Air New Zealand reached the top of the rankings due to a series of improvements in safety parameters since the last report, through the use of systems that allow real-time engine monitoring, as well as the implementation of a new navigation system.<\/p>\n
