Minister of Entrepreneurship and Tourism, Daniel Cadariu, intends to issue an order to amend and supplement the Methodological Norms regarding the issuance of classification certificates for tourist reception structures with accommodation and public catering functions, licenses, and tourism patents, approved by the Order of the President of the National Authority for Tourism no. 65\/2013.<\/p>\n

The main modification concerns the classification of tourist reception structures by individuals who offer housing for rent to tourists, in a hotel regime, and specifies the necessary documentation where one of the conditions is related to obtaining the consent of the neighbors. Applicants can request classification for a maximum number of 7 rooms categorized as apartments and\/or rooms for rent in personally owned family homes, regardless of the number of dwellings in which they are located.<\/p>\n

Individuals will be included in the category of economic operators “who carry out accommodation, public catering, and other specific services in tourist reception structures as their owner and\/or administrator.”<\/p>\n

The Order has appeared since January 31, 2022, on the list of projects under public debate on the ministry’s website. Proposals, suggestions, and opinions regarding the draft normative act are received within 10 days at the e-mail address: dezbateri_publice@economie.gov.ro<\/p>\n
