On the other hand, the situation in Ukraine makes Romanians cautious about booking a summer holiday. The available budget does not allow many of those who wish to organize a summer vacation to travel to destinations other than domestic ones.<\/p>\n<p>According to a study conducted by the online hotel platform Travelminit.ro, nearly 50% of Romanian tourists plan to spend their vacation in the country this year as well. Among them, 24.9% intend to go to the Seaside, 17.1% chose Transylvania, 12.7% voted for Maramure\u0219, and 8.8% chose the Danube Delta.<\/p>\n<p>Regarding summer season bookings, only 26.3% claim they have already chosen a tourist package and made their holiday plans. 54.6% stated they haven&#8217;t booked anything yet, while 19% believe they should wait until the sanitary and political situation in Europe stabilizes.<\/p>\n<p>According to the study, Romanians prefer to wait before booking a vacation in Romania and consider several reasons. The current situation in Ukraine has the greatest influence (31.2%). In second place is indecision regarding the chosen destination (31.2%), followed by personal financial situation (24.7%) or the lack of new holiday vouchers (23.4%).<\/p>\n<p>Among the criteria analyzed when booking a stay are: affordable prices (66.3%), accommodation packages that include one or more meals (49.3%), the possibility of paying with holiday vouchers (44.4%), the amount of the discount offered by the unit (26.8%), booking without a deposit (37.6%) or free cancellation (40.5%).<\/p>\n<p>According to the survey, 47.8% of them decided to travel exclusively in Romania this summer.
