{"id":116747,"date":"2022-07-03T16:48:39","date_gmt":"2022-07-03T13:48:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/rhn.ro\/de-minimis-aid-scheme-for-spa-tourism-operators-is-ready\/"},"modified":"2026-03-07T00:07:24","modified_gmt":"2026-03-06T22:07:24","slug":"de-minimis-aid-scheme-for-spa-tourism-operators-is-ready","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rhn.ro\/en\/de-minimis-aid-scheme-for-spa-tourism-operators-is-ready\/","title":{"rendered":"De Minimis Aid Scheme for Spa Tourism Operators is Ready"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The draft de minimis scheme for economic operators wishing to contribute to the modernization and development of spa and balneoclimatic resorts is available on the Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Tourism website.<\/p>\n<p>The de minimis aid scheme for spa tourism operators has been launched for public consultation, being among Minister Cadariu&#8217;s priorities.<\/p>\n<p>Through investments in infrastructure and professional training for HoReCa employees, Romania&#8217;s potential can be further leveraged at an international level.<\/p>\n<p>For this project, the state will grant a maximum of 50% of the necessary amount, excluding VAT, up to a ceiling of EUR 200,000, in the form of non-reimbursable funds.<\/p>\n<p>Among the eligible activities in the program are: the expansion and rehabilitation of tourist reception structures with accommodation, public catering, and spa treatment functions, including networks for the capture and transport of natural healing factors.<\/p>\n<p>The construction, expansion, and rehabilitation of cultural, sports, and leisure facilities in spa and balneoclimatic resorts, as well as the acquisition of equipment, furniture, and medical apparatus specific to spa treatments, and professional training for HoReCa staff can also be financed.<\/p>\n<p>Small and medium-sized enterprises that meet the eligibility criteria according to de minimis aid legislation and those provided in the scheme at the date of filing the financing application will be able to receive funding.<\/p>\n<p>Throughout the application period of the de minimis aid scheme, from its implementation date until the last day of December 2023, the aids have an estimated total value of at most EUR 500,000,000, equivalent in RON. The limit depends on the budgetary and commitment credits approved annually by law.<\/p>\n<p>A maximum number of approximately 2,500 economic operators will be able to receive this support.
