The process of designating the new partner for the hotel’s management contract began in 2021.<\/p>\n
Negotiations took place for 6 months with several international operators who showed interest in operating the Athenee Palace hotel.<\/p>\n
InterContinental is an international luxury hotel chain and includes over 200 luxury category hotels.<\/p>\n
The rebranding process of Athenee Palace will be laborious, but the transition from one operator to another will be gradual and will not be felt by customers. In this period, the hotel will remain functional.<\/p>\n

The modernization project debuted in 2020, with a first phase ending in the summer of 2021 regarding the 132 rooms in the New Wing.
