Minister Cadariu supports tourism companies<\/p>\n
The Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Tourism has published for public debate an updated version of the draft Emergency Ordinance regarding measures for providing financial support to enterprises in the fields of tourism, public catering, and event organization.<\/p>\n
The HORECA2 state aid scheme allows for electronic registration under two pillars. Pillar 1 involves compensating for the increase in total expenses during the period of January 1 – December 31, 2022, compared to those for the same period in 2021, excluding electricity and\/or gas expenses. Pillar 2 involves compensation of a maximum of 30% of the increase in eligible costs for electricity and\/or gas during the period of February 1, 2022 – December 31, 2022.<\/p>\n
Applicants will have the possibility to register for both pillars or just one of the two.<\/p>\n
The budget for the HORECA2 state aid scheme requested by industry representatives is 750 million EUR, equivalent in lei. This will be analyzed by the Ministry of Finance, which will determine the budgetary allocation in accordance with existing funding sources. Through the implementation of this measure, it is estimated that state aid will be granted to approximately 10,000 beneficiaries.<\/p>\n
The scheme runs from the date the emergency ordinance enters into force until the deadline imposed by the Ukraine Temporary Framework, with the payment of the corresponding amounts to be made no later than December 31, 2024, within the limits of the budgetary credits allocated for this purpose.<\/p>\n
